Add half of the icing sugar to the butter and beat. Add the remaining icing sugar plus a tablespoon of milk and beat until light fluffy and smooth. Colouring may be added if desired.Pipe onto your cupcakes or use as a filling and / or topping in any larger cake.Also delicious used for icing to cover a cake / cupcakes and in macaroons meringues fudge and for dusting.
