Can you see the sea? The inspiration for this highly detailed design comes from the ferocity of sea spray and breaking waves. Made with Liberty fabric it was created by melting shavings of coloured wax crayons apparently. Personally it reminds me of the work by Seurat the pioneer of Pointillism but I have been unable to make out any pastoral scenes when holding the shirt at a distance. Either way there’s an easy versatility to this with so many colours involved there’s no excuse. I’d wear my green chinos and a sharp blue linen jacket. Perfect anywhere.
