I don’t know why but I’ve always thought of owls as wols. Seems more fitting somehow. These are the Tawny variety and what a knowing Parliament they are. Faintly accusatory or slightly baffled they are a characterful bunch. I like the slightly random colours too. A violet owl. Why not?
