As pigment based UltraChrome ink is not fully absorbed but rests on top of the paper the ink does not sink into the paper.The T0540 gloss optimiser cartridge is filled with 13ml of clear varnish that covers the print surface to give a long-lasting unbeatably smooth finish. The C13T05404010 gloss optimiser cartridge has been thoroughly tested to ensure it works seamlessly with the pigment based coloured inks. This results in the T0540 ink cartridge giving perfect glossy prints with the quality of pigment based inks.
