Here we have more than a nod to the 1960s with the retro medallion motif printed on a ground of deep grey. It reminds me of some of the silk ties my father wore. The colours change and shimmer depending on how the velvet catches the light. Look carefully and you’ll find midnight blue in the centre of the medallions with their purple borders.
